No warranty
ChallengeForFriends is provided as-is, on a best-effort basis. The bot may be unavailable for maintenance, may have bugs, may lose or miscount check-ins. Treat all points and forfeits as social rituals, not legal obligations.
No real money
The bot does not handle real money. Penalties are points only. Anything your group decides to enforce in the real world (e.g. buying dinner for the winner) is between you and your friends; we are not party to it.
Acceptable use
Do not use the bot for harassment, illegal activity, or to coerce anyone into anything they did not consent to. Use the safety mechanics (quiet hours, observer mode, /optout) when needed.
Account termination
We may remove the bot from a group or block a user if we observe abuse. You can remove the bot at any time by kicking it from the group; we will mark the group inactive within minutes.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page and announced in the public roadmap. Continuing to use the bot after an update counts as acceptance.
